BNP YORKSHIRE REGION

Barnsley BNP is part of the Yorkshire Region of the British National Party, which has always been one of the strongest regions of the Party. This is in no small part due to the strength of leadership from Nick Cass, Yorks Regional Organiser and also Kirklees Organiser.

In the 2006 local elections there were 106 candidates standing in this region. This year there are a total of 181 candidates standing for these local authorities, plus 26 town and parish council candidates. This shows the fantastic growth rate of the party in the last 12 months.

Candidates in each local authority in the Yorkshire Region 2007 are as follows:-

Leeds - 33
Kirklees - 22
Barnsley - 18
Bradford - 17
