Comments from the Barnsley Organiser (October ’07)

I was in town last Saturday when I had a call from a friend saying he had just been given an anti-BNP leaflet by a man on Cheapside. I immediately went over to investigate, and came upon three of them with bundles of leaflets. A middle aged man and woman talking, and another man stood by himself. As I walked past I looked at the chap stood alone so as he would give me a leaflet. The conversation went like this.

Man: Would you like a leaflet opposing the BNP?
Me: OK. Thanks. I’m the Organiser of the BNP.
Man: They’re Nazi’s. They’re thugs. They dress in suits to look respectable and get votes. When elected they do nothing. They’re useless. They don’t go to any meetings.
Me: No, I’m the Barnsley Organiser of the BNP.
Man: They are against blacks and gays. They are opposed to democracy. They’re thugs in suits.
Me: No, you’ve got it all wrong. I’m not against blacks. I just think it’s a small country and it’s full up already. Overcrowded even. We can’t let millions more people in.
Man: The BNP came from the National Front which was a Nazi Party…. we’re not overcrowded. There’s loads of room. Five and a half million Britons live abroad.
Me: This is one of the most overcrowded countries in the world. This country.
Man: No it isn’t.
Me: Yes it is. Which is the most overcrowded country in the world then?
Man: Oh I don’t know…. Japan. The thing is that black and white working class people are being oppressed. We have to unite – we have to stick together. We have to stop the BNP.
Me: Well I’m the Organiser so I won’t be. I’ll read your leaflet, but…
Man: So you’re the Organiser.
Me: Yes. I have to go anyway. Nice talking to you.
Man: Yes. You too.

I tried using one of the simplest arguments against immigration with this fellow. The fact that this country already has a high population density, and there simply isn’t room for the millions of foreigners that want to come and live here. It will only adversely affect our quality of life (see article ‘Population Problems’ below). But I could tell that this chap had never even considered that aspect. He was still fighting a class war in which the wealthy ruling classes are exploiting and suppressing the downtrodden working class. He believes that racial distinctions only distract from working class solidarity, which is classic Socialist/Marxist ideology. In other words he is stuck in Nineteenth and early/mid Twentieth Century politics. I wish he would understand that things have moved on. It only shows that trying to convince these people of our arguments using logic is a waste of time, because they’re using a totally different frame of reference.

I have been working at a consultancy in Leeds city centre for the past three months, so I am spending every day in one of the most ‘multicultural’ cities in the country. Walking around the city centre at lunchtime I would estimate that around 20% of the people are recognisably non British. But it won’t always be like this. Leeds is a city in transition, as it is slowly but surely being surrendered to immigrants from the third world. Only the BNP can stop this.

I watched all the different people walking past, paying particular attention to groups of two, three or more. How many groups were mixed race, and how many were composed of just one ethnic group. I estimated that only 1 in 10 groups of people were of mixed races. Mostly it was white people with whites, blacks with blacks, Asians with Asians, Chinese with Chinese. This is the state of racial integration in Britain today. Sadly many of the mixed race groups were composed of white females with black males. These females are the unfortunate victims of a determined campaign of media brainwashing.

Any deluded ‘multiculturalist’ can do the same ‘survey’ as I did. I could ask them “where is your wonderful multicultural society where people of different ethnic origin happily mix together?”. I could say “what is going to be the eventual outcome of all your fantasies of a multicultural wonderland?”. I wouldn’t expect a sensible reply.

In Barnsley we are right at the start of this insane multiracial experiment. (I don’t know why it’s still called an experiment – everywhere in the world that it’s been tried before it’s failed disastrously). If we put a real effort into building the BNP and winning elections, we can stop it in it’s tracks before it takes a real hold. We can make the people who believe it’s all going to be wonderful irrelevant, because they won’t be in power.

We all received our copy of Searchlight. All 18 candidates who stood in the last election. Apparently they sent a copy to every BNP candidate in the country. It’s a desperate attempt to demoralize us, to convince us that Nick Griffin is either a blundering buffoon or an egotistical tyrant riding roughshod over the wishes of Party members. It stated that ‘this prominent Party worker has resigned, that one has been sacked, these people are disillusioned, the Party is in crisis, it’s falling apart!’. And I thought we were doing so well, getting stronger all the time.

They ask any Party member or supporter to contact them with their views on the internal problems within the BNP. I think I’m going to contact them with a request. Please send us your ‘factsheet’ every month. I always enjoy a good laugh.
