Leeds Drugs And Guns Gang Jailed




Two men from Leeds and 11 others have been sentenced to a total of 198 years for drugs and firearms offences
The convictions were the result of an international police probe which began in November 2006.



Delroy Powell, 30, formerly of Easterly Road, Gipton, Leeds, but now of Preston Prison and Shane Hall, 25, of Ponderosa Close, Harehills, Leeds and seven other men and four women were sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court.

Others convicted, sentenced and jailed were:
* Stella Taylor,31, of Guildford Road, Preston, 21 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and 10 years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Natalie Nicholls,31, of Oxford Street, Preston, 15 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and eight years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Nyome Hue, 35, Oxford Street, Preston, 13 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and seven years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Karen Forshaw, 35, Brindle Road, BamberBridge, Preston,10 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and six years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Majeed Abdul Shah, 34, Liverpool Prison, formerly of Sea View Drive, Hest Bank, Lancaster, 15 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and eight years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Mohammed Bawla, 35, Blades Street, Lancaster, 15 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and nine years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs.
* Roman Bloch, 29, Hartfield Road, Chessington, Surrey, 14 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs, eight years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs, 10 years consecutive for conspiracy to possess, sell or transfer firearms and four years concurrent for conspiracy to possess, sell, or transfer ammunition – 24 years in total.
* Tomasz Wisniewski, 26, of Preston Prison, a Polish national formerly of Hartfield Road, Chessington, Surrey, 16 years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and eight years concurrent for conspiracy to supply class C drugs, seven years consecutive for conspiracy to possess, sell or transfer firearms and two years concurrent for conspiracy to possess, sell, or transfer ammunition – 23 years in total.
* Krzysztof Kownacki, 28, Preston Prison, formerly of Augustow, Poland, eight years concurrent for two counts of supplying class A drugs.
* Aaron Worgan, 24, Oxford Street, Preston, three years concurrent for two counts of money laundering.
