The man is, Yusuf Shaikh, a father of 4, from Batley. He was jailed for 12 months.
And the wife?...She wrote to the court and asked them not to imprison him but to send him for help with his temper.
Obviously this woman is probably thinking about how long she will live after the husband is released from prison.
