EFP Magazine Sent to Barnsley BNP

.
Upon checking our P.O. Box we found a large brown envelope containing a 12 page photocopied magazine called ‘Heritage and Destiny’. We could immediately tell what sort of publication it was from the slogan on the front cover. The slogan is known as ‘the fourteen words’ and goes as follows ‘we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children’. It was written by a leader of the White nationalist movement in the USA called David Lane whose obituary is on the back cover of the magazine. Apparently Mr Lane was a member of many KKK groups and later Aryan Nations, and went on to found a paramilitary White nationalist group called The Order. He was given a 190 year prison sentence in 1985 for racketeering, conspiracy, and violation of civil rights, and his organisation was also accused of robbery, murder, hijacking, detonating bombs, counterfeiting money… in fact you name it. He was not due to be released until the year 2035 at the earliest, but died in prison this year (2007). From the obituary it is clear that he was held in very high esteem by many White nationalists in America, and a few over here too, although you would have thought they would realise that having such a notorious criminal in their ranks would do nothing but damage to their cause.

The magazine claims to reflect a cross-section of 21st century racial nationalist opinion, and to be independent of all political organisations and parties, but then you read the editorial which urges its British readers to quit the BNP and join the ‘England First Party’ (EFP). When you see that the editor is one Mark Cotterill who left the BNP apparently after deciding that he didn’t like Nick Griffin, and then went on to found the EFP in Lancashire in 2003, you wonder just how independent the magazine can be. Mr Cotterill had previously founded ‘The American Friends of the BNP’ when he lived near Washington DC and this is where the American connection comes from. His Wikipedia entry is not very complimentary of him at all and includes a passage from a newspaper article in which he racially abuses just about every person of a foreign extraction that he sees, however this might just be biased reporting.

The political position of the EFP is very similar to that of the BNP except for one vital difference. They promote English nationalism rather than British nationalism, stating that the concept of ‘Great Britain’ is outdated and redundant. During the BNP conference in Blackpool in November 2006 the EFP were apparently holding their own conference at the other end of town. Our leader Nick G mentioned the EFP during his conference address and stated that in his opinion they were a Searchlight run operation. The Establishment are so desperate to stop us that they have used a number of disaffected BNP members to set up a rival nationalist party with the aim of splitting the patriotic vote.

Nick’s explanation of why we should stick with British nationalism rather than English nationalism made a lot of sense. The people of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales have moved around so much within the UK that we cannot start discriminating between who is pure English and who isn’t. Many people have relatives living in the different countries within the UK, have family names derived from those countries, or actually come from a different part of the UK themselves. We can’t start saying that a Mr Connolly or a Mr McAlister can’t join the Party because they are obviously not pure English. Such a position would be absurd.

The EFP did score a remarkable success in the 2006 local elections by winning two seats in Blackburn, one by Mr Cotterill himself. The name of the party, the ‘England First Party’ probably played a large part in this success, plus the fact that the media have not attacked their Party so fiercely as they have the BNP. However only one year into his four year term of office Mr Cotterill resigned his seat and also his chairmanship of the EFP, giving work commitments as his excuse. He remains a member of the EFP though. The other EFP councillor also resigned at the same time to join another political party. The new Chairman of the EFP was named as Steven Smith, who was formerly the Organiser of the BNP in Burnley when our Party caused a major political earthquake in 2003 by winning eight seats on the council. In his book ‘How It Was Done’ Mr Smith comes across as a genuine nationalist, so why he would want to run a false flag party like the EFP God only knows.

The magazine ‘Heritage and Destiny’ is advertised on the EFP website where they claim it to be England’s best selling, number one nationalist magazine. Well they can claim whatever they like but that doesn’t mean that it is. The magazine sells for £3.00 which is 60p more than the BNP’s Identity, even though our magazine is of far higher quality and presentation. Many of the articles inside H & D are very critical of the BNP and its leadership, and highlight the failures of the Party rather than its successes. In fact it almost reads like one of those ‘anti-fascist’ newspapers that our opponents put out during an election. It’s hard not to agree with Nick Griffin’s analysis – these people are working for the Government.

It should now be obvious to anyone living in Britain that the BNP is the last chance for the indigenous people of these islands. There just isn’t time for any other patriotic political party such as the EFP, the NF, the British People’s Party (BPP), the New Nationalist Party (NNP), or anyone else to build itself up strongly enough to challenge the immigration policies of the Establishment. By standing in elections all they are doing is damaging the chances of the British people retaining control of this country. Do the people running these parties really believe themselves to have leadership qualities equal to Nick Griffin or other BNP leaders? You only have to read the illiterate drivel on the EFP website to understand that there is no contest. If the EFP thinks that we at Barnsley BNP are going to read their pathetic publication and immediately switch our allegiance to them they had better think again.
