There will be a meeting later in the day at a top Barnsley venue, where Barnsley BNP will be announcing their candidate for the Barnsley central by-election.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY FOR BARNSLEY BNP

Following on from yesterday's mass VOF paper sale with a helping hand from Nick Griffin MEP in Barnsley town centre, today's leafleting session was a success too.

Many activists from across Yorkshire made their way into Barnsley early this morning to help leaflet, including Ian Kitchen, who is the newly appointed Regional Organiser.

With a by-election date yet to be set, Barnsley BNP are already well organised and motivated for the weeks ahead.

BARNSLEY WELCOMES NICK GRIFFIN MEP

British National Party Chairman, Nick Griffin MEP arrived in Barnsley town centre today to show his support to the dedicated activists.
Local shoppers congregated around the stall and waited patiently to speak to Nick, because they know that this man has stood up for this country against the most vile and toxic opposition which no person should have to endure in a democratically run country.

Barnsley is never far from Nick's thoughts and is often mentioned in his interviews.

The party Chairman knows only too well that a place like Barnsley, known for it's friendliness, local accent and unique culture will soon be drowned out by rising tides of so-called multiculturalism, political correctness and islamification. Adding unwanted pressure to high unemployment figures, benefit handouts and social housing stock. Not forgetting vital services in Barnsley which will soon be severely cut.

Don't let Labour ruin Barnsley anymore than it already has. A 21st century market town doesn't just mean shiny new buildings, a change of demographics has been on the agenda for some time, as stated in 'Investing in a Multicultural Barnsley.'

KIDS BAN FOR MUSLIM PAEDOPHILE GANG

A GANG of sexual predators who preyed on vulnerable young girls on the streets of South Yorkshire have been banned from ever being alone with children again. The five Rotherham men - already locked up for a total of 32-and-a-half years after being found guilty of sexually assaulting girls as young as 13 - have now been issued with Sexual Offences Prevention Orders to ensure they are never in a position to ever abuse young girls again.

Razwan Razaq, aged 30, of Oxford Street, Clifton, his brother Umar Razaq, 24, also of Oxford Street, their cousin Mohammed Ramzan, 21, of Broom Grove, Broom, and friends Adil Hussain, 20, of Nelson Street, Clifton, and Mohsin Khan, 21, of Haworth Crescent, Moorgate, were told they must never seek or be in the company of any girl under the age of 16 if the youngsters do not have a parent or guardian present.

ERIC ILLSLEY MP - GUILTY OF THEFT FROM THE TAXPAYER

17,487 people voted for a liar and a thief to represent them in Barnsley Central.

Eric Illsley stood in last year's General Election even though he was under investigation for his abuse of Parliamentary expenses and in full knowledge that he was guilty of pocketing thousands of pounds of taxpayers money. He denied the accusations.

Today, Eric Illsley went to court and changed his plea to admit defrauding the taxpayer of £14,500.

The claims were made for council tax, telephone usage, service charges and maintenance, and insurance and repairs at his second home in Kennington, South London, between 2005 and 2008.

I was one of 3,307 voters who woke up a long time ago to the criminal activities within the Labour party and my cross was firmly marked against Ian Sutton BNP Parliamentary candidate (left of photo).

Radio RWB: John Walker interviews Nick Griffin about news reports admitting BNP were correct about the Muslim paedophile grooming of young white girls.

The controlled media has finally admitted that there are Muslim paedophile gangs operating in Britain which prey on young white females, a fact for which Nick Griffin was twice put on trial for daring to say.

In a front page article in the Times newspaper, the existence of the Muslim paedophile gangs is openly acknowledged, although that paper quite falsely claims that it has the story “exclusively.”

In reality, Mr Griffin was arrested in 2004 after comments he made about the Muslim paedophile groom gangs scandal were broadcast on the BBC documentary, The Secret Agent.

The British National Party leader was charged with “using words or behaviour intended or likely to stir up racial hatred” for pointing out what the Times today has repeated and now presented as an “exclusive” story.

Egypt is screening people who arrived recently from countries where al-Qaeda is known to recruit after early findings suggested the militant network was behind a New Year's church bombing, security sources said.

In Europe, authorities said they were pursuing threats against Coptic churches there, after militants said they would attack the Egyptian Christian denomination both in Egypt and among its diaspora communities. A suspected suicide bomber killed 21 people and wounded 97 others outside a Coptic church in the Nile delta city of Alexandria during a New Year's midnight service.

The authorities have been holding seven people for questioning. The bombing has prompted hundreds of Christians in Muslim-majority Egypt to protest in Alexandria and Cairo against what they say is the failure of the authorities to protect them. Egyptian officials have said there were indications "foreign elements" were behind the blast and said the attack seemed to have been the work of a suicide bomber. "The security forces have confirmed that finger of suspicion indicates that the culprit was a suicide bomber linked to al Qaeda," a security source, who asked not to be identified, said. Another source said police had stepped up security at Egypt's ports and airports to prevent anyone who might have been involved from fleeing as the investigation continues. "Security is preparing a list of those who have arrived in Egypt recently from countries where al Qaeda is known to recruit operatives," the second security source said. Threats Copts, the native Christians of Egypt, are the biggest Christian community in the Middle East and also have diaspora communities in the United States and Europe.

They worship in a nearly-extinct language descended from ancient Egyptian. The attack came two months after al Qaeda-linked insurgents in Iraq attacked a Baghdad church and threatened to strike Coptic churches in Egypt, accusing the Egyptian Christian denomination of mistreating female converts to Islam. Two weeks ago, a statement on Islamist websites urged Muslims to attack Coptic churches in Egypt and among Egyptian Christian communities in Germany, France, Britain and elsewhere around Christmas, which Orthodox Copts celebrate on Jan 7. A statement after the blast on another Islamist website read: "This is the first drop of heavy rain, hand over our prisoners and turn to Islam." No group was named. The German government said it had warned Coptic Christians living in Germany about the risk of possible attacks just hours before the New Year's blast in Alexandria. "I can confirm that on New Year's Eve the interior ministry contacted the bishop of the Coptic Christians in Germany, Anba Damian, to tell him about this risk," German Interior Ministry spokesman Stephan Paris told reporters. A French court said it had opened an investigation after a priest in the greater Paris region complained of online threats against Coptic Christians. French Police will seek to determine whether the threats, posted on social networking websites, amounted to a conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism, the court said.

It did not identify the websites or give details of the threats.

Don't let this happen to you

This is a plea from Barnsley BNP for all females to keep safe over Christmas. If you are planning a night out, think about how you are getting back home.

Pre-book a taxi and inform a friend or relative who that Taxi company is and what time you have booked it for.

You can take extra precautions once the Taxi has arrived by making sure it is the Taxi you have pre-booked as it will have the taxi company name on the doors. Make sure it has the yellow plates attached to the vehicle at the back, the front and there should be an internal plate. The back plate has a unique number printed on it which applies to that vehicle.
You can also ask to see the driver's photo ID badge.

If you don't pre-book a private hire car and want to flag down a Hackney car the same rules apply with identification on the doors, plates and driver's badge. Once in the cab try and text someone the plate number or the driver's badge ID number.

Remember to put your safety first, especially if you are travelling home alone. Enjoy the spirit of Christmas and keep safe.

Dave Gibson - Teaches English and his own brand of politics

Having witnessed Gibson's presence with students opposing the BNP in Barnsley, it made me wonder what kind of man influences students with his own brand of politics.

Thanks to a letter printed in the Barnsley Chronicle, which reads:

As a former student of Barnsley College, I, like most, am worried about government cuts and in particular tuition fees.

I love the idea that new modernised schools are being built around Barnsley for our children's
education and for a comfortable learning environment. Not like when I was at school in cold porta cabins or with my coat on because the boiler was broken.

On the front page of the Chronicle last week I loved the thought some students had been to London for a peaceful protest.

Then I read the article and looked at the people involved. I was then appalled that the students had been on the front line of violence, led by a senior college lecturer.

As stated, as a former Barnsley College student I'm well aware of Dave Gibson's politics, as are most of Barnsley's shoppers who in recent times have witnessed him with students getting into heated discussions with a certain right wing group.

I'm all for freedom of speech from all sides of the political spectrum but I doubt if Dave Gibson is, as he is bringing his own view of politics into the classroom onto impressionable young students. This is totally wrong.

Politics should be left out of the classroom to let students decide for themselves what view they have when they are old enough to vote.

The protests last week were a breath of fresh air and we celebrate them.

The government’s attacks on education will wreck millions of young people’s lives, throw workers on the dole and transform education into something shaped by business and the market.

It’s no surprise that students are angry—and they are right to make sure the Tories feel that anger.

We think Sally Hunt, the general secretary of the lecturers’ UCU union, is wrong to condemn the Millbank protest. She blamed it on a “mindless and totally unrepresentative minority”.

That’s wrong. Thousands protested at Millbank. Far from being mindless, they were clear about who their enemy is and determined to show that they would resist.

We think education is a right for everyone, not a privilege for the rich. We need more militant action against the Tories.

RAF MAN TURNED AWAY BY ASIAN CABBIE IN SHEFFIELD

AN inquiry is underway after an RAF serviceman was refused a cab by an Asian taxi driver in Sheffield who objected to his uniform. The 24-year-old serviceman who had been at a family wedding ceremony in his RAF "blues" was turned away from the black cab by the driver who apparently became aggressive.

Sheffield City Council, the RAF and the local taxi association are now investigating amid calls for the driver to be sacked.

Vince McDonagh of the local joint ex-servicemen's association said: "Everybody is astounded that a British taxi can turn away someone in uniform at this time of year.

"Taxis should be bound by the rules of the licensing authority and I think they should locate this driver and take his badge away.

"It makes you angry and disgusted. They are fighting for their country and it is a kick in the teeth for them."

The incident happened last Saturday after Kevin Burke's daughter got married at Sheffield Register Office.

Mr Burke, 46, a part-time lecturer from Sheffield, did not want to reveal his son's name who is from the city but is based in Scotland, for security reasons.

But he said he wants the authorities to take action.

He said: "My wife and my son went to get a taxi near the town hall after the ceremony to go on to the reception.

"When the cab pulled up they were about to get in when the driver said he wasn't letting my son in because he was in uniform.

"My wife asked him for a reason and the driver became quite aggressive in turning them down. He made it quite clear it was because my son was in the forces.

"Being a professional my son just turned his back and walked away and they hailed a private taxi to get to the reception.

"It is totally disgusting. The driver did not give an opinion but made it apparent he did not like servicemen.

"If you are providing a public service you should not refuse people like my son. He is fighting for his country after all."

Even the local taxi drivers are incensed at what happened.

A spokesman for the local black cab drivers said: "It is not needed. These servicemen and women protect our way of life. They put their lives at risk for this nation. To be treated like that is unbelievable."

Sheffield City Council said: "On the face of it is disappointing and disheartening."

Yobs in West Yorkshire burned Bibles and slashed hymnbooks in an attack against a Methodist church in a village near Bradford.

The distressing attack on Birkenshaw Methodist Church was discovered earlier this week when an art group went to the church to hold their meeting.

Upon arriving they found that a large crucifix had been ripped from an interior wall, the chairs had been slashed, and wires leading to the church’s speakers and piano keyboard had been cut.

Upset

Revd Graham Edwards, the church’s minister, said: “Everyone is very upset and it is very sad to go to the effort of refurbishing the whole place to find somebody will break in and, for what seems like no reason at all, will destroy and ruin things.

“What is upsetting people is the pointlessness of it all.”

He added: “You always wonder what things are about I suppose but I don’t think we are too concerned by that. It upsets you but we are not going to dwell on these things.”

Attack

The church, which has 61 members, was refurbished just two years ago and Revd Edwards estimates that the attack could cost around £2,000.

The police are continuing to make inquiries into the incident, but a police spokesman has confirmed that nothing was stolen during the break-in.

The incident occurred between the end of the church’s Sunday evening service and the Monday afternoon when the art group arrived at the church.

Gutted

In March a 19th century Cambridgeshire church was gutted by a massive fire, reportedly started when yobs set Bibles and prayer books alight.

The horrific fire in Westry, near March, left the village church in tatters with only the external brickwork remaining.

Church caretaker John Arnold, 74, arrived at the church to see a cross and a Bible engulfed in flames.

Burning

He said: “When I opened the door I first thought it was dust coming in the windows and then I realised it was smoke.

“I had thought it was strange because the door was unlocked.

“The smoke was really thick and I could see the Bible was burning and the wooden cross that we had made.”

Church rector, the Revd Anthony Chandler, described the scene as “heartbreaking”.

MARINE OFFERED £1,500 PAYOUT AFTER LOSING PART OF HIS BRAIN

Bierley family’s anger as marine who lost part of his brain in Taliban shooting offered £1,500 payout and told: It’s just a flesh wound.

The family of a Bradford commando offered a £1,500 insurance payout after he was shot through the head by the Taliban have branded the decision “disgraceful”.

Royal Marine Liam Brentley had to have part of his skull, brain and jaw removed and has been left with deafness and memory loss after he was shot while on patrol in Afghanistan.

Now his dad Gary, 50, has hit out at the father-of-two’s insurer for offering the “disgusting” payment for his injuries which the company has described as a “flesh wound”.

Mr Brentley, of Parkmere Close, Bierly, said: “It is a disgrace. He is so upset and his wife, Samantha, is distraught.

“We received a letter offering him £1,500 for what they call a ‘flesh wound’. We are absolutely disgusted with it.”

Mr Brentley and his wife Yvonne were outraged after receiving the letter from insurance company Chartis.

Their son, a former rugby league professional, is having treatment for his injuries at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley court, Surrey.

Mr Brentley said: “We were hoping to get him a good payment so that he could crack on with his rehabilitation but this has just hit him for six.”

Marine Brentley amazingly survived after being shot through the head while on patrol in Afghanistan’s dangerous Helmand province, the Telegraph & Argus exclusively revealed in July. The former Bradford Dudly Hill rugby league player was initially treated in Afghanistan but his injuries were so severe he was flown back to Britain to undergo a life-saving brain operation.

His wife, Samantha, gave birth to their second child, Isabella, at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Selly Oak, Birmingham, where her husband was recovering from the surgery.

Samantha said: “It’s upset me and Liam. They are saying it’s a flesh wound which it’s not. He has been shot in the brain. He has had brain tissue removed and part of his skull removed. He is totally deaf on his left side with permanent memory loss.

“Liam’s not going to be able to work because he’s got short-term memory loss. He’s going to be disabled for the rest of his life. He has two children and two step-children.”

A spokesman for insurance firm Chartis said £1,500 was an initial offer from the company and apologised if the cover-all term “flesh wound” – which it used for bullet wounds – had caused offence to the family.

Marine Brentley, 25, may be entitled to payments in the future following the advice of medical professionals looking after him. But his dad said: “He has a wife and two children and doesn’t know whether he will have a job. They need it now.”

The Chartis spokesman said: “If there has been a failure in communication with the family, then we apologise.

“This is a complex situation where payments are made within the terms and conditions of the contract and some have already been paid. Whether or not more payments are due is dependent on the long-term outcome of the injury. We are dependent on medical professionals treating an individual to provide that information.”
